Speedheater from Sweden is the market leader in infrared paint stripping equipment. It offers a more cost effective and safer alternative to hot air gun removal and provides an alternative when chemical paint stripping is not possible. Particularly suited to paint stripping from wood and internal surfaces it can soften multiple layers of paint in 30 - 90 seconds and as it uses low temperatures lead and toxic metal contents found in some paints stay in the paint.

September 2011 - Tensid supplies Graffi Coat 101 permanent anti graffiti coating
It is Elephant Parade's mission to be the world's largest financial support organization for the Asian elephant, that is threatened with extinction. The open air art exhibitions attract worldwide attention as well as much needed public awareness and support for the cause of elephant preservation and conservation: the elephant statues never go unnoticed by the wider public and mass media.
Elephant Parade is not a charity, but it is probably the most charitable enterprise in the world. Part of all benefits from Elephant Parade are donated to The Asian Elephant Foundation. This independent charity supports various projects throughout Asia, varying from elephants hospitals to the lease of land, where elephants have enough space to mate and live in peace.
Over the past three years, more than 7 million euro was raised at auctions in Europe. Over 4 million euro was donated to charity. To date, hundreds of Asian elephants have been saved and cured, but there are still thousands of elephants that need our support.
Elephant Parade is an A-B-C, easy as 1-2-3. It is the combination of Art, Business and Charity. Art drives the value of the Elephant Parade. The higher the quality of the Art that is made, the more profitable the Business will turn out to be, the higher the amount that will be raised for Charity.
Elephant Parade wants to attract the most renowned artists worldwide. So far, top artists like Paul Smith. Jack Vettriano, Tommy Hilfiger, Corneille, Diane von Furstenberg and Lulu Guiness have painted one or more elephants. But there's also room for upcoming artists from all over the world and celebrities like Prince Micheal of Kent, Ilse DeLange and 3-star Michelin chef Jonnie Boer.
After having been on display on the best locations, the elephant statues are auctioned off to museums and art collectors. Top auction houses like Christie's and Sotheby's underline the potential value of Elephant Parade art.
Tensids Graffi Coat 101 was chosen to provide protection from graffiti and to allow the decorated elephants to be easily maintained.

May 2009 - Icelandic freezer gets a hot clean
When Tensid customer Enso in Iceland were approached by the Icelandic national milk producer Mjolkursamsalan they were experiencing some problems with cleaning the exterior of the massive storage freezers - part of the ice cream factory.
The aluminium cladding has a very smooth, glossy finish which the client had been trying to clean just with water. Unsuccessful, they asked Enso for help. The dirt was a mixture of dust and some green biological organisms similar to moss that had formed in the crevices between the blocks.
The air temperature was around 5°C in the morning however the surface temperature was lower in the morning which why they used 50°C hot water. Once the surface got to around 5-6°C the cleaning was much easier. The building had 3 equally large sides - the one shown here was by far the dirtiest.
Arni Geir of Enso said they carried out some tests first before deciding to use Cladex LD with a dwell time of about 20 minutes max, then rinsing with 50°C hot water. This method proved to provide the best results.
The building has also now been coated with Cladex Restore.
